To access an award for essential household items from Under One Roof the Applicant must:

• be aged 16 years or over;
• live within the administrative boundary of Lancashire County Council;
• have no income or be on a low income, such as means tested benefits;
• be in a priority group;
• not have access to sufficient funds to meet their immediate needs or those of their dependents; and
• need access to essential household items to help maintain or establish a home.

Do NOT proceed with this an application if:

1. You do NOT have evidence of the applicant’s tenancy agreement, offer letter or if there is any reason to believe the Applicant does not reside at the address stated on the application form.
2. If the applicant has no recourse to public funds.
